We recommend Eucalan Fiber Wash for washing your alpaca clothing.  It comes in 5 scents, well 4 really and an unscented. 
  • jasmine (Wrapture)
  • eucalyptus
  • lavender
  • grapefruit
  • unscented. 
This natural fiber wash is gentle on your alpaca clothing and all natural fiber items with the bonus feature that you do not need to rinse it out.  It can be used in your machine as well; i.e., superwash merino items that can be machine washed.  Just skip the rinse cycle and go straight to the spin cycle.  The scented Eucalan is a natural moth and flea deterrant.  This helps these issues but is not a substitute for proper scented sachet use for stored items or protecting your natural fiber garments in moth proof containers or wardrobes.  See our page on care and storage of alpaca fiber clothing.  

Eucalan natural fiber wash comes in several sizes (check out the pump that fits the 500 ml/16.9 oz bottle )
  • 5 ml/0.17 oz for single use
  • 100 ml/3.3 oz for approximately 20 hand washes 
  • 500 ml/16.9 oz for approximately 95 hand washes or 33 machine loads
  • 1L/1 gallon for approximately 750 hanbd washes or 253 machine loads
Eucalan with its natural flea deterrance and mild nature can be used to wash the family pet.  And no needs to rinse!
