Heavy, warm Alapca sock from our national cooperative in the USA.  100% USA product.   Alpaca farmers in the US consign a portion of their annual clip each year and the coop makes that clip into product, either in Peru or in the US.  One of the products, their best seller, are these socks which are manufactured in the good ole USA! 

These socks come in regular length (calf length) and boot cut (about knee-high).  They have a terry type inner surface, are very durable and great for outdoor activities such as hunting, hiking, biking, skating, skiing, horseback riding, barn cleaning - you name it.  There is also a slipper style sock available (anklet style).  Alpaca fiber naturally wicks moisture away from your feet to keep them dry.  The natural insulating property of alpaca fiber keeps your feet warm and toasty.  Everyone should own at least one pair of these socks!  Great gift item.
